My sister-in-law graduated from high school yesterday. My mother called me up and asked to make a card basket for her open house. Here’s what I came up with. I was so happy to have the car image from PTI because I think it turned out super cute. I love you the rhinestones turned out on the head lights too. There is a close up of the tag after this picture.
Supplies: PTI Enjoy the Ride set and die cut, StazOn jet black and pumpkin ink, the black ribbon was in my stash, the orange ribbon and rickrack came from R Scrapbook store, white and black cs, American Crafts Sentiments set, Queen &Co. clear rhinestones, black circle clip in stash, Target-black fabric basket

My aunt had surgery and this was a little treat we brought her. I re-used a peanut butter jar and filled it with mini candy bars. The dot paper was in my scrap box (I know it came from HL…thinks it’s paper studio). The button is paper studio and twine is PTI. The scallop circle was done with Nestabilities large scalloped circles. The ovals were done with Creative Memories oval cutter. Image is American Crafts clear stamps sentiments. I stamped the image twice.
A friend of mine had her daughter in the hospital for several days as they were trying to figure out was making her so sick. This is a little care package I made for her. It’s filled with a variety of her favorite chocolates. The tin I re-used, it once had chocolate pretzel balls in it. Paper is all the same from the above project. Stamp is from Inkadinkado. Felt flower, brad and ribbon in stash. Nestabilities large scalloped squares. The cream tag was done with Sizzix tags, scallop combo #2.
The card was tucked inside the box, I used up scraps for this too. The stamp is Kolette Hall got Studio G.
Thanks for looking. I hope your weather is better than ours. We have ran which is freezing can causing accidents all around town. Maybe it will help melt the snow as we warm up today! I don’t know about you but I am ready for spring and green grass to play in ![]()

Sorry I have been away for so long…don’t worry I have been crafting, just no time to blog about it :( I am hoping to get everything updated by tomorrow night and then keep up with it! I made this card last night and wanted to get it up to share with you. This card is for a little boy who is losing his 2 year battle to cancer. His wish was to celebrate Christmas and get as many Christmas cards as he can before he goes to heaven. Here is the link http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/21522646/detail.html where you can read his story and get the address to send him a card. This is the Friday Limited Supplies challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. Please find the time time to get a card to him whether you make it or buy it.
In the eyes of children we find the joy of Christmas. In their hearts we find its meaning. ~Leland Thomas
Supplies: cs, pp from American Crafts patterned paper Christmas pack, elf is by recollections and from Michaels, Merry Christmas is from katie & co., mini brads are by recollections, fuzz on hat is a piece of cotton ball glued on, black stazon ink and charcoal ink by Colorbox chalk, ribbon from Walmart in their fabric dept.

Here is the card I made for the PPA8. I also made it for a co-worker for her birthday. I have made it my personal goal to make a birthday card for every co-worker in our school. I started in September and I think we have had 10 or so birthdays. I need several for October too. I have decided that whenever I participate in a challenge I will make a birthday card so hopefully I will have a stash built up again. Plus, then I have to participate since the card is needed for work, right…:) The purple background paper was in my stash. I got it several years ago in one of the paper stacks for Christmas. The flower like image is from a newer set of my by American Craft-clear stamp sentiments, which I am loving! I stamped it several times across the white cs. Our local HL is carrying them and there are several more sets that I wouldn’t mind picking up. I stamped the image with Colorbox chalk wisteria. It’s a petal point set, primary pastels. The butterfly is from my bridgeport set by s.e.i. I stamped the solid butterfly in blue and the detailed butterfly in the same purple again. The blue is from Colorbox Paintbox chalk- ocean breeze and the color is ice blue. The ribbon came from HL in their floral section. I used my corner rounder for the white cs. Then I used my 1 7/16 scallop punch on the purple cs from HL and my 1 1/4 circle punch on the butterfly. This was a very quick and easy card to make. What do you think, I ‘d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for looking and have a great Saturday.

I just finished making three cards for my sister. She needed a bachelorette card, a bridal shower card and a wedding card all for one of her friends. She told me that the colors were brown and that she was having wildflowers. I picked up the printed paper from American Crafts at Michaels along with the passionate (pink) paper by Bazzill. I love two sided papers for cards like this so you don’t have to try and match up colors. I also used white card stock. The first card is for her bachelorette party. The Martini stamp is from Vap! scrap.
The next card is for the shower. The stack
of presents is by katie & co. Both images
were stamped with Stazon Timber brown.
